This job position is for Budapest location in a hybrid set up (Work from Home and Office days)
How will you make an impact?
You will be part of a team working on infrastructure management as well as improving systems reliability. Your efficient contribution will help the business and the company to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
What will you do?
Provide L2/L3 operational support for Linux/Unix infrastructure.
Participate in Cloud/Virtual infrastructure improvements and maintenance activities.
Managing the service management work queue to address customer requests within the established service level agreements.
Participating in the on-call rotation with other team members to ensure necessary support coverage for the global infrastructure.
Ensure the highest possible level of server uptime and availability by proactively identifying and fixing infrastructure related problems.
Bring automation to improve efficiency.
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelors in computer science or equivalent required or relevant work experience.
Experience
5+ years’ experience in RedHat Linux OS Administration
2+ years’ experience with VMWare Virtualization/AWS Cloud infrastructure management
3+ years’ experience in L2/L3 Infrastructure Operational Support.
Good to have experience in scripting and automation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proficiency in RedHat Linux OS Administration
Proficiency in VMware Virtualization/AWS Cloud technologies
Proficiency in AWS and Azure Cloud technologies
Good Exposure with Shell Scripting and Automation like Ansible
Experience in working with geographically distributed teams.
An attitude of continuous improvement in process with security standard methodologies and cost-effectiveness
Ability to work in a team structure, make decisions, solve problems, analyze, plan, organize and prioritize work.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to present technical information to both business and technology teams with clarity and precision.
