You’ll be given a 24 week training followed by 3 exams after each main application category in NALCO Water brand, so that you soon become a real expert in what you do. Primary purpose of the position:

Ensures order and revenue growth of Company products and services to assigned customer and prospect accounts by analyzing and meeting customer needs and satisfaction; developing and implementing sales plans; selling products and providing customer support with after sales service, within assigned sales territory combined. Supports and lead field application engineer and/or service technician working in team. To carry on these activities a basic to medium level of knowledge is required in automation. Leads projects and bids in the Light industry segment, assigned sales territory is covering Northeast, and East Hungary.

What you’ll do:

Sales objectives

  • Achieves annual sales targets by working with the District Manager, Corporate Account Manager, and to establish selling strategy
  • Maintains customer base and gain new business at existing or new customers
  • In co-ordination with the District Manager, Corporate Account Manager, achieves penetration of targeted new business opportunities through application of professional selling skills and sales planning techniques
  • Analyzes customer needs, requirements, and strategic plans recommending solution, preparing technical offers using Company water treatment products and equipment line
  • Develop sales plans and strategy for active and potential pursuits
  • Keeps management informed through 1:1 or general meetings and using actively the CRM platform to document sales and service activity

Enhance customer satisfaction

  • Developing a thorough understanding of customer’s business, mission, key business drivers, strategy, operational issues
  • Advising customers on best product mixes to accomplish their production and sustainability objectives
  • Documents value offered and delivered with the Total Value Delivered concept to customers
  • Provides technical and service support to customers, acting as business and technical consultant to customers
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating product results and competitive developments
  • Follows order to cash process working together with Order, Delivery support and Credit teams in a timely and professional manner
  • Identifying and resolving customer complaints, escalating as required.
  • Builds effective customer relationships through effective business calls.

Working in team

  • Participating in team sales calls, proposal development, pricing presentations, consultative selling techniques, and order closing strategies
  • Is actively working with designated field service team, able to carry out planned routine service activities alone as well
  • Contributes to team efforts by supporting and participating to campaigns, actions in a cooperative and supportive manner, helping each other
  • Representing region at trade shows and customer postal counsels

What you’ll need:

  • Fluent English and Hungarian language knowledge (verbally and written)
  • Successful direct sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, 5 years of experience in similar industries where Company is active represent a hiring advantage
  • Knowledge related to industrial automation, experience related to implementation turnkey projects, form basic to medium complexity
  • Possesses mature sales account management skills.
  • Ba in Chemical, Food or Mechanical Engineering
  • Msc degree of the above engineering subjects is a plus
