What is the job about?
Lead short (2Y) and long-term(5Y) roadmap/release plans balanced with capabilities and budget in Global Product Information Management and ensure close collaboration with divisions. Secure the unit has correct and updated master data, and comply to the agreed ways of working and governance setup in collaboration with Portfolio Optimisation & Excellence.
Further drive and implement partnership strategy and optimize the use of external consultants by considering business strategy, market trends, cost drivers.
Be the local host manager for employees with line managers located abroad
Your main responsibilities:
Delivery excellence:
- Lead the roadmap/release plan planning and secure it is balanced with capabilities and budget
- Lead mitigation activities across PIM on budget and capabilities
- Facilitate PIM delivery prioritization together with function and divisions
- Secure correct and updated master data in BlueBook/StaffPlanner.
- Hereunder, secure budget allocation and spending’s are reflected correct in BlueBook
- Secure the transparency of portfolio and performance are used as foundation of the capacity management as well as ensure clear communication towards surrounding organization
- Secure governance and compliance to agreed ways of working regarding delivery and portfolio management
Partnership excellence:
- Optimize the supplier portfolio to ensure ready to use external capabilities
- Lead negotiations and ensure favorable contracts and commercial conditions according to purchase policy, ethics and Grundfos values
- Scout and develop new partnerships
- Analyze spend and develop transparency for better data driven decision making
- Develop self-service setup for supporting line managers to easily work with partnerships
Host Manager:
- Ensure hosted employees have a sense of belonging to the local site. Ensure the employees understand and comply with local rules and guidelines e.g. code of conduct, holiday calendar, employee handbook, safety etc.
- Work with local management to improve work conditions and ensure the necessary working facilities and support for the hosted employees
- Keep line managers informed regarding local processes and cascade information to hosted employees regarding site issues
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- Master or bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- Proven R&D portfolio/capacity management experience in an international company
- Proven agile experience and change management
- Proven financial and data management experience
- Fluent English both verbal and written
- Must be willing to travel when required
