Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
Role purpose:
As a Credit Collection Specialist You will be responsible for ensure and optimize collaboration with business partners in the OtC cycle. You will be consist of control and reduce risk of receivables, minimize working capital and bad debt.

Understand customer requirements and drive self / team to meet customer requirements- Understand metrics and various measurement mechanisms
- Monitor process performance and ensure that the service levels are met
- Interact with business partners frequently (30-35% via phone/oral communication) to address any challenges
- Control and manage assigned accounts receivable portfolio
- Collect receivables at due time, follow-up and act on customers’ payment performance
- Manage collection calls, perform general correspondence: statement and dunning letters
- Provide, communicate and report collection status of customers
- Manage account reconciliation, investigate and perform credit holds and order release, analyse and communicate situation
- Support the month-end closing process
- Contribute negotiation of financial agreements to secure outstanding and debt collection
Requirements:
At least 2-3 years’ work experience in finance/sales/education or similar position- Minimum secondary level and/or tertiary level education in Finance / Economics or language studies
- Fluency in Swedish and English languages. Any other language is a plus
- Customer service orientation
- Excellent in organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong in coordination, time management, critical thinking, analytical and reasoning skills
- Ability to problem solving, decision making with prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Application of proven methods to common and uncommon collection problems
- Understand of the overall impact of the financial decisions
- Experience with SAP / S4 HANA software
