What is the job about?
As an Associate Product Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from ideation to launch. Design, prototype, test, and refine products to meet the needs of our customers.
Support the development and engineering of products with a cross-functional team, meeting customer demands agreed with product management.
Analyse, define and support the implementation of new features in existing products to secure a fit between customer needs, available product features, and production capability. Handle daily tasks supporting the product technical documentation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Assist and collect data for problem solving and product maintenance (e.g SAP data)
- Daily work to support the product line(s) with dedication and true ownership
- Contribute to smaller technical updates and improvements to the product line(s)
- Prepare documentation in compliance with legislation, Grundfos processes, standards, and practice
- Ensure updated product documentation (i.e. models, assemblies, drawings, SAP data)
- Conduct preliminary analyses for product changes/updates
- Perform cost analysis and cost reduction activities
- Work according to prioritised task backlog
- Contribute, support, and ensure a well-functioning and self-organised SCRUM team.
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or similar
- Technical background (mechanical or electrical) is preferred
- 3D modelling skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented, effective, cooperative mindset
- 0-1 years working experience
- Proficient English – verbal and written
